DashBot Changelog

Report a problem to us right from the pause menu.

• New Report a Problem: a new button on the Account tab sends us a problem report without leaving the game. Describe the issue, and - if it is about recording or playback - optionally attach the recording as evidence. We follow up by email.
• Fixed A slice you set on a recording no longer lingers after that recording is gone - so importing a new recording with the same name starts fresh instead of inheriting an old slice.

Practice-replay reliability - the big one being phantom deaths during playback.

• Fixed Phantom deaths during playback: a practice recording where you died mid-dash and respawned past a dash orb could replay a death partway through that never happened in your run. Playback now runs cleanly through to where the recording ended.
• Fixed Switching between Normal and Practice mode mid-recording no longer leaves a corrupted recording - it ends and saves cleanly at the switch.
• Fixed Practice replays no longer pick up out-of-order or duplicated speed/game-mode changes, so the trainer and splice tools read the run correctly.
• Improved Metronome on/off and tone changes now take effect immediately mid-run, without restarting the level.
• Improved Importing a recording clears the field on success and asks before re-importing one you already have.
• Improved The Recordings and Settings lists now show a visible scrollbar, so it is clear when there is more below the fold.

Fixes for the Settings checkboxes and the training overlays.

• Fixed Settings checkboxes no longer interfere with each other - each one toggles independently and unchecks cleanly.
• Fixed Vertical click lines and the trajectory overlay now work on Normal-mode recordings, not just Practice.
• Improved The Account tab now shows your installed DashBot version with a quick link to this changelog.

Cloud sharing and loopable playback slices.

• New Cloud Sharing (Pro): upload a recording to get a shareable link, and import recordings others share with you by code or link.
• New Slice a playback (Pro): set a start and end point and loop just that section - built for grinding the parts you keep dying on.
• New Recording name prefix: tag new recordings with your own label so they stay distinct from friends' when sharing.
• New Account tab in-game: see your plan, device usage, manage your subscription, and move to a new PC.
